G6 products are built in Oregon of Alderwood. Alderwood has a similar color of oak and is a hardwood, harder then pine, softer then oak and can be stained or printed to match any decor. All Alder products are shipped ready to assemble and finish. (Assembly and finishing intructions are included). Alder can blend in with many woods. To match Oak, we suggest thinning your stain 30%. Always experiment on an inconspicuous area (eg. bottom of a chair seat). Made in the USA
